Inspiring youth to change, grow, and succeed is our business and it starts with helping them reflect on the past and embrace the future.

When I think about family the only thing that comes to mind is my sisters, they're honestly all have besides my dad. I would go through it all 1,000 times over again if that meant that got one more minute with my sisters around. They've helped me get through my court issues, depression, everything. The moral of this is, as long as you have people you consider your family you can get past anything in life. I love my sisters, would they trade me for a makeup palette and a McDonald's McClure? Most definitely but they're all I have. It IS possible to change who you are don't give up.

Empowering Youth Like Christina

During her time in public and private school, Christina was often severely bullied. Christina has high functioning autism, making her view the world through a different lens than that of her peers. Difficulties with her peers and relating to the world caused frustration and pain that lead to aggression both at school and home.

While working with BAYS she has come to better understanding her triggers, how to cope in these situations, and thrive in school. Next year she will start dual enrollment college classes and wants to be a Zoologist after she graduates.
